Among the 50 largest listed companies in Vietnam, only Vinamilk (31 million) and ACV (30.5 million) from the non-financial sector have an average salary above 30 million VND/month. The finance sector, mainly banks and securities, has significantly higher earnings, with Techcombank Securities making an impressive 70.5 million VND/person/month. SSI reached about 55 million VND/person/month. This income is heavily influenced by brokerage commissions and performance bonuses. VIX is the only company with a decrease, at 24.4 million VND/person/month. Banks ACB, Vietinbank, Vietcombank, and MB all report average incomes above 37 million, with Vietinbank recording a 10% rise year-on-year. Non-financial firms like Vincom Retail and Becamex report much lower incomes, while Petrolimex and ACV see significant increases as incomes improve post-pandemic. However, the average income does not accurately represent reality due to significant pay disparities between executives and employees.
