Among the 50 largest companies listed on the Vietnamese stock market, only Vinamilk and ACV have average monthly salaries exceeding 30 million VND. The finance sector, especially banks, leads in salaries. Techcombank Securities impressively reported an average salary of 70.5 million VND per month, an 8.5% increase from the previous year. Although SSI did not disclose a specific salary level, its spending on staff reached about 55 million VND per person per month. The securities sector has high salaries, but many commissions must cover marketing and customer care costs. Conversely, VIX had a lower average salary of 24.4 million VND, highlighting discrepancies within the industry. Banks like Vietinbank and Vietcombank reported high incomes, benefiting from economic recovery. According to the General Statistics Office, the average income of laborers nationwide in 2024 was only 7.7 million VND per month.
