The Vietnam Minerals Corporation (Vimico) is a leading company in Vietnam for mining and processing minerals. In 2024, Vimico reported a total revenue of 13.277 trillion VND and a pre-tax profit of 1.566 trillion VND, contributing 1.697 trillion VND to the state budget while employing 5,015 people. The company produced 73,741 tons of copper ore, 30,079 tons of copper cathodes, 9 tons of gold, and 2 tons of silver. However, revenue is expected to decrease to 12.619 trillion VND in 2025. Vimico aims to complete its 5-year target with a total revenue of 55.117 trillion VND. The company plans to produce a total of 4,682 kg of gold from 2026 to 2030, averaging over 900 kg annually, potentially making it the largest gold producer in Vietnam. As of March 2025, KSV’s stock surged from 34,000 VND to 187,200 VND per share, leading to a market capitalization of 37.440 trillion VND.
