The largest shareholder of a listed company cannot reduce their stake due to lack of buyers

FSN Asia Private Limited was unable to sell 4.7 million shares of Clever Group (stock code ADG) due to a lack of buyers during the period from February 20 to March 21. After the transaction, they still hold 38.75% of Clever Group and are related to a board member of the company. ADG shares are trading near par value with low liquidity, seeing only hundreds to tens of shares traded daily, with a market capitalization of 220 billion VND. Clever Group operates in the advertising sector but has also ventured into real estate and finance, although business performance has not been favorable. Since 2021, the company’s revenue and profit have been declining, reporting a net profit of 18 billion VND in 2024, the lowest since 2017.
