The South Korean government says 12.9% of the population holds cryptocurrencies

According to a survey conducted by the Korean Financial Services Commission (FSC), the number of cryptocurrency users has increased by 6.45 million, accounting for 12.9% of the total population of Korea.

Notably, these 4.55 million users are small investors with cryptocurrency worth less than $734.
