The tycoon supplying ingredients to Trung Nguyen, Vinamilk, Masan… with 12 trillion in revenue becomes a major shareholder of the ‘king’ of aloe vera

GC Food announced that AIG has acquired over 7.1 million GCF shares, increasing its ownership to 52.87% and becoming the parent company of GC Food. GCF raised around 214 billion VND from this share sale, with AIG’s purchase price lower than market prices by 10%-16%. GC Food, specializing in processing aloe vera and coconut jelly, reported over 347 billion VND in revenue for the first half of 2025, up 33% year-on-year, with a profit of 52 billion VND. Meanwhile, AIG reported revenue of 7.014 trillion VND and profit exceeding 500 billion VND in the first two quarters of 2025, with the previous year’s revenue reaching nearly 12.387 trillion VND.
