The US leverages technology and regulation to seize global virtual currency assets

The US is employing its regulatory advantages to harvest virtual currency assets on a global scale. The National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center’s report estimates over 30 billion USD in virtual currency will be seized between 2022 and 2025.

Significant cases include a 15 billion USD seizure tied to Chen Zhi, and hefty fines for Binance. The US aims to control blockchain technologies while pushing stablecoin regulations, emphasizing the strategic importance of virtual assets.
