In the first 2 months of 2024, The World Mobile (MWG) recorded revenue of 24.524 trillion VND, up 13.5% year-on-year, equivalent to 416 billion VND per day. The two main chains, The World Mobile and Dien May Xanh, contributed nearly 17 trillion VND, with online revenue reaching about 1 trillion VND. Despite a reduction of 221 stores, sales per store continued to grow, attributed to improved efficiency and cost optimization. Additionally, the Bách Hóa Xanh chain opened 94 new stores, bringing the total to 1,864, with revenue exceeding 7 trillion VND, an increase of 16% from the previous year. Food and FMCG sectors showed positive growth. MWG is also preparing for the peak season of air conditioning and has plans for a 50 million USD investment for the EraBlue chain in Indonesia. The World Mobile continues to pursue sustainable expansion and development.
