On May 14, 2025, Viettel Global (VGI) received resignation letters from two board members, Mr. Phùng Văn Cường and Mr. Lê Xuân Hùng, as well as from the head of the supervisory board, Lê Quang Tiệp. They are resigning effective June 5, 2025, due to new assignments from the group. Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hoa was appointed as the new CEO in February 2025, replacing Mr. Cường. Mr. Cường has nearly 20 years with Viettel, holding multiple leadership roles, including CEO of Viettel Cambodia and Viettel Global. Both Mr. Hùng and Mr. Tiệp have extensive experience in finance and auditing. In terms of business results, in Q1 2025, Viettel Global recorded a revenue of 9,657 billion VND, up 22% year-on-year, with a pre-tax profit of 1,310 billion VND. VGI’s shares are traded around 72,600 VND per share.
