On May 20, Vietravel will finalize the list of shareholders to offer nearly 28.7 million shares at a 1:1 ratio, priced at VND 12,000/share, to pay debts. VTR shares increased by 5.5% to VND 17,200/share but remain in a downtrend. Nguyen Thuy Tien purchased 6 million shares, becoming the largest shareholder with 20.94%. Previously, Hung Thinh Group sold the same number of shares. The agreement on the transfer had a value of VND 168 billion, at an average price of VND 28,000/share, 25% higher than the closing price at that time. However, Thuy Tien is currently experiencing a loss of approximately 14% on her investment, equivalent to nearly VND 17 billion. In Q1 2025, Vietravel recorded revenue of VND 1,294 billion, up 8% YoY, but net profit fell by nearly 53% to VND 5.9 billion.
