CafeF announced the list of the top 10 insurance companies that contributed the most to Vietnam’s budget in 2024, with a total contribution of 7.8 trillion VND, a 20% increase from the previous year. This list is part of the PRIVATE 100 and VNTAX 200 series, which honors major companies that have significantly contributed to the state budget. Baoviet Group and PVI Holdings lead with over 1 trillion VND in contributions, followed by life insurance companies such as AIA, Prudential, and Manulife, as well as non-life insurance companies like BIC, PGI, and MIC. Despite challenges in the insurance sector, with a slight revenue decline of 0.3%, budget contributions still increased. AIA Vietnam stands out with a contribution of over 600 billion VND in the past two years, serving 1.6 million customers and disbursing 15.5 trillion VND in insurance benefits. This list highlights the important financial contributions of insurance companies to the economy.
