The financial reporting season for the first half of 2025 has witnessed numerous companies achieving record profit growth rates. Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEFAC) leads with a staggering 8,341% increase, reaching a profit of 19.081 trillion VND, attributed to revenues from the transfer of the Vinhomes Global Gate project. National Citizen Bank (NCB) ranks second with a growth of 6,343%. The power sector has four representatives in the list, with Buon Don Hydropower increasing by 1,477% and Huong Son Hydropower by 1,092%. The securities sector is also notable, with LPBank Securities seeing a 1,807% rise. Many companies have shifted from losses to profits, such as EVN Genco3, which reported a profit of 987 billion VND after a loss of 942 billion VND in the same period last year. Other companies like Nhon Trach 2 and Masan MeatLife also recorded significant profit improvements.
