A ceremony was held to transfer the ownership rights of state capital at FPT Telecom from SCIC to the Ministry of Public Security, co-chaired by Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam and Deputy Minister of Finance Cao Anh Tuan. FPT Telecom is among the leading telecommunications companies in Vietnam, contributing significantly to the development of the digital economy and cybersecurity. This transfer aims to enhance the effectiveness of state-owned enterprises and strengthen the capacity of the Ministry in national security and social order protection. During the signing ceremony, SCIC’s General Director highlighted the importance of this move for national data security and expressed confidence in FPT Telecom’s future growth. Lieutenant General Pham Truong Giang of the Ministry of Public Security affirmed collaboration with relevant units to ensure a smooth and stable transfer process.
