Trust Wallet explores first major RWA integration in a self-custodial wallet

Trust Wallet is integrating Real-World Assets (RWAs) to provide users with access to tokenized assets while maintaining self-custody. This innovative feature is expected to diversify users’ on-chain activities, particularly benefiting those in regions lacking traditional financial services.

During a recent panel at the Proof of Talk conference, Trust Wallet CEO Eowyn Chen explained the significance of this integration. Users will experience an upgraded ‘Swap flow’ feature that facilitates engagement with RWAs, aligning with the company’s vision of becoming a Web3 neobank.

Trust Wallet faces challenges related to compliance, liquidity, and user experience but aims for a phased rollout of the RWA integration starting in Q3 or Q4 2025, ensuring adherence to local laws as they expand their financial toolkit.
