Two tycoons return to real estate: Bau Duc’s last project in Gia Lai, announcing 160 apartments for employees while ‘the monk tycoon’ engages in 20,000 social housing units

Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Phu Dong High-rise Residential and Commercial Complex project in Gia Lai, with a total investment of 400 billion VND and 610 apartments. This is HAGL’s final project before the company shifts focus solely to agriculture. Bau Duc announced he would gift 160 apartments to employees who have been with the company since 2016, in gratitude for their support in overcoming challenges.

Meanwhile, Le Phuoc Vu, Chairman of Hoa Sen Group, stated that the enterprise would implement at least 20,000 social housing units for workers, contributing to the plan of building 200,000 units in Ho Chi Minh City by 2030. Hoa Sen has launched Hoa Sen Home with a charter capital of 1 trillion VND, focusing on real estate and building materials. This marks the third time Hoa Sen ventures into real estate, having previously withdrawn from various projects.
