The U.S. Government leads with about 198,000 Bitcoin, while China holds nearly 190,000 BTC and the UK possesses around 61,000 BTC. Combined, these holdings reflect a concentration of about 2.1% of total Bitcoin supply.
Most U.S. Bitcoin has come from seizures related to illegal activities. Additionally, proposals were suggested during Donald Trump’s tenure to create a national Bitcoin stockpile, aiming to bolster U.S. Strategic presence in the cryptocurrency market.
