The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has selected four companies for its regulatory sandbox to test stablecoin services. The chosen firms are Monee Financial Technologies, ReStabilise, Revolut, and VVTX.
Testing will start in the first quarter of 2026, focusing on stablecoin issuance, payments, and crypto trading. According to Matthew Long, this initiative will enhance stablecoin credibility and inform future regulations expected in late 2026.
