Unity releases security update for Android bug, assures no exploit evidence

Unity Technologies has released a patch for a vulnerability that could allow third-party code execution in Android mobile games—risking user security especially in the crypto space. The company urges developers to immediately update their games using the patched editor.

According to Unity’s community director, there is no evidence indicating that the vulnerability has been exploited. Microsoft confirmed they are addressing related security issues in Windows games, ensuring that console games remain unaffected.
