USDC is expected to surpass USDT as largest stablecoin
As per the data released by Arcane Research, in October, 2022, the USD coin is expected to overtake Tether as the largest stablecoin if the current rate holds. The market capitalization of USDC will surpass 61.3 billion.
Tether had a 47.5% market share at the start of 2022. On the other hand, USDC had 25.8%. Tether’s supremacy, however, has decreased to 43.8% after the first half of 2022, while USDC’s has climbed to 36.3%.
