VIETABANK Prepares for Second Capital Increase after Positive Business Results in the First Half of the Year

Following the success of the first capital increase, VIETABANK is preparing for its second increase in charter capital to enhance financial capacity and expand business operations. The additional capital will be allocated to key projects such as investments in digital technology infrastructure, expanding the branch network, and strengthening lending in priority areas. The CEO emphasized that capital increase is not just a financial operation but also holds strategic significance. According to the financial report, VIETABANK recorded a pre-tax profit of 714 billion VND in the first half of 2025, achieving 55% of its yearly plan and increasing 27% compared to the same period last year. Total assets reached nearly 134 trillion VND, with stable growth in loans and customer deposits. Notably, the ratio of demand deposits increased by 29%, contributing to reduced capital costs. VIETABANK continues to expand its individual and corporate customer base while implementing the Omni-Channel digital banking project. The capital increase will strengthen the capital adequacy ratio and facilitate the bank’s growth in a highly competitive environment.
