On October 15, VietJet’s VJC shares jumped 6.75% to 162,800 VND/share, marking a 27% increase in October. The market capitalization exceeded 96 trillion VND with a liquidity of over 2 million shares per session. HDB shares of HDBank, where Thao serves as Vice Chairwoman, also rose 2.14% to 33,350 VND/share. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao’s wealth surged with 202.4 million VJC shares worth about 33 trillion VND and 526.7 million HDBank shares valued at around 17.5 trillion VND. According to Forbes, Thao’s net worth is now estimated at 4 billion USD, ranking 994th in the world, an increase of 353 million USD from the previous day.
