After dropping sharply on April 3, Vietnam Airlines’ HVN stock rose by 2% on April 4, despite many other stocks declining. Reports indicate that the company’s revenue for 2024 reached 113.746 trillion VND, with a record profit of 7.958 trillion VND, signaling a strong recovery post-COVID-19. The airline effectively eliminated a 4.710 trillion VND debt from Pacific Airlines and improved operational efficiency. Currently, HVN remains under supervision due to accumulated losses and is implementing measures to address these issues. Additionally, Vietnam Airlines plans to invest in 50 Airbus A320NEO or Boeing B737 MAX aircraft, valued at approximately 92.8 trillion VND, to expand its fleet from 2025 to 2035.
