The Vietnamese stock market is experiencing one of the most exciting periods in its history, with the VN-Index surpassing the 1,600-point threshold and trading liquidity reaching record highs of 2-3 billion USD per session. Currently, there are 6 securities companies (SSI, VND, VIX, VCI, HCM, MBS) with a capitalization exceeding 1 billion USD, marking the highest number ever. Among these, VIX has seen a 270% increase since early July, marking the entry of two new billion-dollar players (VIX, MBS) into the list. Techcom Securities (TCBS) is also preparing for an IPO, expected to reach over 3.7 billion USD in capitalization, potentially creating a positive effect on this group of stocks. Furthermore, Vietnam is forecasted to be upgraded to secondary emerging markets by the end of this year, allowing billions of USD in foreign capital to flow in, continuing to stimulate the development of the stock market and securities companies.
