Vietnam Has Never Had So Many USD Billion Valued Securities Companies

The Vietnamese stock market is experiencing an explosive period with the VN-Index surpassing 1,600 points and liquidity frequently reaching around 2-3 billion USD. Currently, there are 6 securities companies with a market capitalization of over 1 billion USD, including SSI, VIX, VND, VCI, HCM, and MBS. This is the largest number of billion-dollar securities firms in Vietnam’s history. Leading stocks like VIX and MBS have surged significantly and joined the billion-dollar club, with SSI still at the top. TCBS is preparing for an IPO with a valuation of 3.7 billion USD, expected to create price volatility in the market. The outlook for an upgrade from FTSE Russell to secondary emerging market status is predicted to bring in billions of USD in foreign capital, boosting the development of securities companies and the traditional stock market as well as the digital asset market.
