Vietnam’s stock market is in a vibrant phase with the VN-Index exceeding 1,600 points and liquidity reaching 2-3 billion USD. Currently, there are 6 brokerage firms with a market capitalization over 1 billion USD, including SSI, VND, VIX, VCI, HCM, and MBS, setting a new record. Notably, VIX has surged 2.7 times since July, rising to the second position in industry capitalization. TCBS, preparing for its IPO, may join the billion-dollar club with an offering price of 46,800 VND and a pre-IPO valuation of 3.7 billion USD. Expectations of Vietnam being upgraded to an emerging market by FTSE Russell could attract billions in foreign capital. Brokerage firms are likely to benefit from this upgrade alongside the growing digital asset sector in Vietnam.
