Vietnam proposes fines for unlicensed digital asset trading platforms

Individuals trading on unlicensed platforms may face fines ranging from 10 million VND (379 USD) to 30 million VND (1,138 USD). Organizations not adhering to regulations risk penalties of up to 200 million VND (7,584 USD).

The draft also addresses breaches like misleading disclosures or unauthorized operations, exposing domestic and foreign investors to severe penalties. Violations can lead to fines between 50 million VND (1,900 USD) and 100 million VND (3,815 USD), depending on the severity.
