Vietnam Welcomes 3 New Billionaires, Raising Total to 8

Vietnam has recently welcomed 3 new billionaires, bringing the total to 8, according to Forbes. The new billionaires include Ms. Pham Thu Huong, Ms. Pham Thuy Hang, and Mr. Ngo Chi Dung. Ms. Pham Thu Huong, Vice Chair of Vingroup, has an estimated worth of 2.2 billion USD, while her sister, Ms. Pham Thuy Hang, has 1.5 billion USD. Mr. Ngo Chi Dung, Chairman of VPBank, is valued at 1.1 billion USD. Pham Nhat Vuong remains the richest with 21.1 billion USD, despite a drop of over 7 billion USD compared to last year. Other billionaires have also seen declines due to stock price fluctuations. Conversely, Nguyen Dang Quang, Chairman of Masan, has added approximately 100 million USD to his wealth. Forbes estimates wealth based on the number of shares and market value, as well as other assets.
