Vietnamese Company Exports Top Passion Fruit in Asia Can Double Capacity by Late 2025, Stocks Reach Three-Year High

NAF’s shares of Nafoods, the leading exporter of passion fruit in Asia, have risen nearly 30% in the past two months, reaching a three-year high. Nafoods accounts for 10% of the global passion fruit market and is expanding into various other tropical fruits. The company plans to invest in expanding production capacity, with output expected to double by 2026. For 2025, revenue is projected to reach 1,985 billion VND, up 38% from 2024. Despite challenges such as weather impacts, competition, and inflation pressures, it aims for a post-tax profit of 135 billion VND. In Q1, Nafoods reported nearly 350 billion VND in revenue, a 12.6% increase, but a 5.2% decrease in profit. The company plans to pay dividends in shares and continue stock issuance to raise capital for projects. U.S. tariffs could affect exports, but Nafoods remains optimistic about recovery and growth.
