On June 5, in the presence of the Prime Minister, the Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) and the Port of Tallinn signed a Memorandum of Understanding for strategic cooperation. This agreement emphasizes collaboration in port management, development of green and smart ports, aiming to protect the environment and innovate technology. The Port of Tallinn manages the four largest ports in Estonia and is focusing on smart infrastructure and clean energy, handling about 20 million tons of cargo annually. Under the agreement, both parties will explore modern models of port operations, including the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence. VIMC, a leading maritime corporation in Vietnam, continues to expand international cooperation. The Prime Minister’s visit to Estonia aims not only at enhancing economic collaboration but also affirming Vietnam’s foreign policy direction in the era of digital transformation and sustainable development.
