Viettel Global announced its 2024 business results, reporting revenues of 35.368 trillion VND, a 25% increase from 2023, six times the global telecommunications growth rate. Pre-tax profits reached 10.667 trillion VND, up 175%, and post-tax profits hit 7.173 trillion VND, the highest ever with a 335% increase year-on-year. As a result, the company will pay a cash dividend of 7.5%, equivalent to 750 VND per share. CEO Nguyen Thi Hoa emphasized sustainable development as a top priority, highlighting the importance of investment in digital infrastructure. Additionally, the digital services sector experienced a significant growth of 57% in e-wallet services. In 2024, Viettel Mozambique ranked first in mobile subscriptions and revenue, receiving numerous international awards for the company’s efforts. The General Meeting also saw changes in the Board of Directors, asserting the goal of achieving 38.649 trillion VND in revenue and 7.599 trillion VND in pre-tax profit by 2025.
