Viglacera Corporation (ticker: VGC) was recently fined for tax violations based on a decision from the Large Enterprise Tax Department. Specifically, Viglacera was fined a total of 120 million VND for incorrectly calculating tax bases and failing to fully declare tax details, which did not ultimately result in underpayment. Of this, over 114 million VND was for underreporting tax, while 6.5 million VND was for incomplete declarations. Additionally, the company must pay over 570 million VND in back taxes and nearly 41 million VND in late payment fees. The total amount due, as of October 22, 2025, exceeds 731 million VND. Furthermore, VGC has decided to terminate the operations of four branches and three business locations to streamline its organization.
