Vimedimex Shares Temporarily Halted from Trading

The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) has decided to temporarily suspend trading of Vimedimex shares (VMD) due to the company’s failure to comply with information disclosure regulations. On September 16, VMD was warned for being over 15 days late in submitting its audited financial report for the first half of 2025. By October 2, VMD had still not disclosed information on corrective measures, leading to the trading suspension.

Additionally, this week many companies are finalizing rights to pay dividends, with 14 companies paying cash dividends and 3 in shares. Cảng Sài Gòn (SGP) has approved a divestment plan from Cảng Sài Gòn Logistics (SPL) and selling its shares in Maritime Bank (MSB) to optimize its financial portfolio.

Vinamilk (VNM) is set to finalize its shareholder list to distribute a 28.5% dividend on October 17, amounting to nearly 5,960 billion VND to shareholders. Transimex (TMS) has announced a 10% dividend payout for the fiscal year 2024.
