Vingroup of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong inaugurates world Top 10 exhibition project, setting an unprecedented record

On August 19, Vingroup held the inauguration ceremony of the National Exhibition Center (VEC) in Dong Anh, Hanoi, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Covering an area of 90 hectares and investing over 7 trillion VND, VEC is identified as the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia and ranks in the Top 10 worldwide. The highlighted project features the Kim Quy exhibition building, a steel dome weighing 24,000 tons and 56 meters high, inspired by the legend of Co Loa. This center includes exhibition halls, a conference area, dining spaces, and a large parking lot. Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman of Vingroup, stated that completing the project in just 10 months is a noteworthy record. Following the inauguration, VEC will become a venue for large-scale events, playing a crucial role in boosting the economy of Hanoi and the whole country.
