Vingroup’s stock (VIC), owned by billionaire Phạm Nhật Vượng, hit a new high, rising nearly 5.7% to 153,200 VND/share, bringing its market capitalization to over 590 trillion VND. Since the beginning of 2025, VIC has surged nearly 280%, positioning Vingroup to become the first Vietnamese company to reach 600 trillion VND in market cap. The company was also recognized as one of the world’s best by TIME magazine. Phạm Nhật Vượng’s estimated wealth is about 270 trillion VND, with a total net worth of 15 billion USD, ranking 175th on the list of the world’s richest people. His assets exceed those of several leading billionaires in the region.
