At the end of today’s trading session, Vingroup’s VIC and VHM shares both hit the ceiling price, with VIC at 69,600 VND and VHM at 57,200 VND. VRE also increased by 4.64%. This surge raised billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong’s assets to $8.4 billion, ranking him 369th in Forbes’ list of the world’s richest people. The VN-Index rose by 18.98 points to 1,241.44 points. Many other stocks, such as VGC and HDG, as well as oil stocks, also recorded positive increases. Total transaction value reached nearly 26,200 billion VND, while liquidity on HOSE dropped by 37%. Foreign investors sold net with about 312 billion VND, with major stocks like FPT and VNM seeing significant sales, while HPG and VHM were bought net.
