On March 13, Vingroup’s VIC shares surged to the ceiling price of 51,400 VND/share, significantly boosting billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong’s wealth. He currently holds about 691.27 million shares of VIC, equivalent to 18% of the company’s capital, elevating his asset value on the stock market to approximately 114 trillion VND (around 4.5 billion USD), an increase of 24 trillion since the beginning of the year. According to Forbes on March 12, 2025, Vuong’s fortune rose by 66 million USD in one day to 6.7 billion USD, ranking 494th among the world’s richest. Besides VIC, Vuong also invests in VinFast, an electric vehicle company listed on Nasdaq, valued at nearly 8 billion USD. Recently, Vingroup transferred part of the Vinhomes Co Loa urban project to T&T company, with total investment for the project amounting to 34,879 billion VND.
