He emphasized that zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) and homomorphic encryption (FHE) are driving Ethereum’s efficiency, making key processes more effective and focused on privacy.
Buterin projected that within five to ten years, the cost of ZK and FHE technologies would approach zero, promoting their integration into various applications.
