The stock market is currently experiencing significant fluctuations, especially with the stock AAS of SmartInvest Securities Joint Stock Company. On September 11, this stock fell over 10% to 13,100 VND/share, being the stock with the largest decline in the securities sector. Previously, AAS had soared from 7,000 VND to 23,000 VND in just 4 months, reflecting a nearly 230% increase. However, in less than two weeks, AAS has lost more than 40% of its value. Trading liquidity also peaked above 3 million units per session. SmartInvest, now having a charter capital of 2.3 trillion VND, reported an operational revenue of 238 billion VND in the first half of 2025, down 4% year-on-year. Net profit also dropped 15% to 48 billion VND. The company aims for an operational revenue of 520 billion VND and a net profit of 82 billion VND for 2025, which represents a 13% and 11% increase from 2024, respectively, and has achieved 59% of its annual profit target.
