The shares of Vietjet Air (VJC) owned by billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao have soared to 219,100 VND/share, with a market capitalization nearing 130 trillion VND, 2.2 times higher than at the beginning of the year. As of November 25, Thao’s wealth is reported at 4.8 billion USD, ranking 832nd in the world. Vietjet plans to issue 118.3 million shares as dividends at a rate of 20%, increasing its charter capital from 5,916 to 7,100 billion VND to support business expansion. In Q3 2025, Vietjet achieved revenue of 16,728 billion VND, with a pre-tax profit of 393 billion VND, a 28% increase year-on-year. The airline operates 219 routes and served 21.5 million passengers. Additionally, Vietjet will resume flights using COMAC aircraft on November 25, with 4 flights daily from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao.
