Which locality ranks third in the country with ‘tycoon’ businesses worth over 10 trillion, following Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City?

According to the latest data, among 34 provinces in Vietnam, Hanoi leads with 52 enterprises valued over 10 trillion VND, including 11 in the “100 trillion club.” Ho Chi Minh City follows with 50 such companies. Hai Phong ranks third with 4 enterprises over 10 trillion VND, including Hoang Huy Financial Investment Corporation (TCH), Viconship Corporation (VSC), Hai Phong Port Corporation (PHP), and Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company (NTP). TCH’s stock has risen by 57%, while VSC’s has surged by 155.69%. However, Hai Phong has no businesses worth over 100 trillion VND. These enterprises focus on logistics, port operations, and manufacturing, highlighting the city’s competitive advantages.
