Which locality ranks third in the number of ‘tycoons’ with over 10,000 billion, after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City?

Currently, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are the two leading localities in terms of the number of listed companies with a market capitalization of over 10,000 billion VND, with 52 and 50 companies respectively. Hanoi has 11 companies in the “100 trillion club,” with Vietcombank (VCB) leading at nearly 520 trillion VND in market cap. Ho Chi Minh City ranks second with the Vietnam Airport Corporation (ACV) at 219 trillion VND. Ranking third is Hai Phong with 4 companies valued above 10,000 billion VND, including Hoang Huy Financial Services Investment JSC (TCH), Viconship (VSC), Hai Phong Port (PHP), and Tien Phong Plastic (NTP). Although Hai Phong lacks any companies exceeding 100 trillion VND, this still reflects the strong development potential, especially in logistics and manufacturing.
