Wyoming treasury should run on blockchain — Stable Token Commission boss

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission, led by Anthony Apollo, aims to implement a blockchain treasury for enhanced transparency. They are considering launching a fully-backed stablecoin on Avalanche or Sui, projecting its testnet readiness soon.

The stablecoin is anticipated to initiate testing by the end of March 2025, with a full launch planned for the second quarter. The commission hopes this will facilitate governmental transparency in financial transactions.

Despite concerns raised by Cardano’s founder regarding the blockchain selection process, Apollo remains confident in the commission’s transparency and has noted support for the project within the Wyoming legislative framework.
