The total value of Vingroup approaches 1 trillion VND as billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong brings the fifth billion-dollar “blockbuster” to the stock exchange

On May 13, Vinpearl JSC will list over 1.79 billion VPL shares on HoSE, valued at nearly 130 trillion VND, positioning Vinpearl among the top 15 largest companies on the Vietnamese stock market. Vingroup, holding over 85% of Vinpearl’s equity, reaches a total market capitalization of nearly 1 trillion VND, including VinFast. To date, Vingroup owns several companies valued over 1 billion USD, including Vinhomes and Vincom Retail. Vinpearl forecasts 2025 revenue of 14,150 billion VND and net profit of 1,750 billion VND. In Q1 2025, Vinpearl achieved revenue of 2,435 billion VND, a 45% increase year-on-year. Vinpearl previously suffered losses during the pandemic but has returned to profitability since 2022.
