For the first time in history, companies of 6 Vietnamese billionaires contributed 112 trillion VND to the state budget, far exceeding the state-owned giant PVN

In 2024, the companies of 6 Vietnamese billionaires contributed over 112 trillion VND to the state budget, surpassing PetroVietnam (PVN) with 77.4 trillion VND. The top 5 companies include Vingroup, THACO, Hoa Phat, Techcombank, and Masan Group. Vingroup ranked first with over 56 trillion VND, an increase of 82% compared to 2023; THACO contributed 23.7 trillion VND; Hoa Phat and Techcombank contributed 13.4 trillion and nearly 6.8 trillion VND, respectively. Masan Group contributed over 4.8 trillion VND. HDBank and Vietjet Air, led by billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, contributed 6 trillion and 1.15 trillion VND. The contributions from these billionaires reflect not only financial support but also promote social responsibility and significant contributions to the Vietnamese economy.
