The family of former FLC Chairman Trịnh Văn Quyết has deposited an additional 100 billion VND into the account of the Hanoi Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement, raising the total amount paid to approximately 1,073 billion VND. This money is currently under the management of the Department for future enforcement. The appellate court hearing scheduled for March 25 was postponed to ensure the rights of the victims and allow Mr. Quyết’s family to resolve the aftermath. During the trial, Mr. Quyết’s health was reported to be poor due to being hospitalized for tuberculosis, and he has requested to postpone his attendance. His family has pledged to fully compensate the total of 2,400 billion VND by May, with his two sisters contributing beyond their civil liability, amounting to 86.6 billion VND and 254.3 billion VND respectively.
