Billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao’s Airline Orders 20 Wide-body A330neo Aircraft

Vietjet, Vietnam’s largest private airline, has signed an agreement with Airbus to purchase 20 A330-900 aircraft. The agreement was made in Hanoi, witnessed by the President of Vietnam and the French President, to support Vietjet’s international expansion plans for the next decade. This contract doubles Vietjet’s order for A330neo aircraft to 40 units, in addition to an order for 96 A320neo aircraft. The A330-900 is equipped with the latest Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, capable of flying continuously for up to 13,300 km, offering passengers a modern cabin experience. Currently, Vietjet operates a fleet of 115 Airbus aircraft and is expanding its international routes to major destinations like Australia and India.
