The Saigon Ground Services Company (SAGS) has established Saigon Ground Services Company – Long Thanh with a charter capital of 333 billion VND, with SAGS holding 75%. The project at Long Thanh Airport focuses on the repair and maintenance of aviation equipment. The two bidding packages are valued at 781 billion VND and will be executed over 18 months on an area of over 7,000 m2. SAGS and HGS jointly invest in the new company, with SAGS representing 50%. SAGS is recovering after the impact of Covid, with 2024 revenue of 1,518 billion VND and profits of 294 billion VND, although domestic passenger numbers have decreased while international passengers have increased.
