Hai An Transport and Stevedoring JSC officially launched the new ECX shipping route connecting Vietnam to Lianyungang Port, China, on July 5, 2025. This route includes a journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong and back, with a frequency of two trips per month. Hai An is the first shipping company in Vietnam to operate this route, utilizing two container ships, HAIAN TIME and HAIAN BELL. Currently, Hai An has established three direct shipping routes to China. Since its establishment in 2009, Hai An has owned 17 ships with a total capacity of 28,200 TEUs, accounting for 68% of the container shipping market share in Vietnam. The company has also connected goods between Vietnam and several other countries in the region.
