Why Pi Network’s heavy dependence on Vietnam’s nodes is a growing issue

The concentration of approximately 48.2% of Pi Network’s nodes in Vietnam not only jeopardizes the project’s decentralization but also exposes it to heightened scrutiny from authorities. Pi Network’s viability is at stake due to the government’s stringent regulations and potential penalties against cryptocurrency transactions.

Moreover, with the core team holding over 60% of the Pi Coin supply, centralization becomes a pressing concern. This control undermines the principles of decentralization that cryptocurrencies aim to achieve, ultimately questioning the integrity and trust in the network.
