In 2024, companies owned by 6 Vietnamese billionaires contributed over 112 trillion VND to the state budget, a figure that surpasses the National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) with 77.4 trillion VND. This first-ever ranking announced by CafeF includes PRIVATE 100 and VNTAX 200, honoring both private and state enterprises with the largest budget contributions.
Leading the chart is Vingroup of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong with over 56 trillion VND, an increase of 82% from the previous year. THACO of Tran Ba Duong and Hoa Phat of Tran Dinh Long follow with 23.7 trillion and 13.4 trillion VND, respectively. These contributions demonstrate the significant role of the private sector in the budget, asserting their position in the national economy.
